Las nuevas ruedas Specialized Rapide CLX III permiten conseguir una velocidad inigualable en cualquier situación. La rueda delantera tiene un perfil más alto con una profundidad de llanta de 51mm y un radio de 18. Además, incorpora componentes internos DT Swiss 180 EXP, 36 dientes y se necesita un 39% más de fuerza para pinchar. Todo esto rompe con las reglas de la aerodinámica, consiguiendo la mayor velocidad posible tanto en competición como en entrenamiento.
